- Custard making: add sugar into hot water mix until completely dissolved. Whisk egg with evaporated or milk powder. Pour in sugar water. Add milk flavor and mix well
- Sift the egg mixture in a separate bowl or measuring cup. Pour egg mixture into tart shell
- Preheat oven to 200°C. and bake tart for 10-15min until edges are lightly brown. Lower heat to 180°C and keep an eye on them. Once the custard puffed up a bit, pull the oven door open a bit. Bake for another 10-15min until custard is cooked or toothpick stand on it's own in the custard. See picture below

- Note: you can choose to reduce or add more sugar to your custard. Addition of flavor also enhance the taste and if you're using salted butter, there's no need to add more salt
