Instructions to make Spaghetti and Meatballs:
- Mix all meatball ingredient in a bowl until it is fully combined. Shape meatballs in a golf ball size.
- Put olive oil in a pan. Than fry the meatballs until outside of the meat is browned. You don't have to cook completely. You will be cooking it with sauce after. But if you like your meat fully cooked. Go for it. After you finished cooking transport the meat somewhere else. And don't pour the remaining things in the pan.
- Add olive oil in to a pot. Than add garlic and onion. Cook them until they are trancelucent. Add the red pepper flakes. Then pour the tomato puree. Combine all ingredients. Pour the juices from the meat's pan. Than cook until it's boiling. When it is boiling reduce the heat and let it simmer. When simmering add basil and bay leaf. Cook it for 15 minutes.
- Add parmesan cheese to the mixture and stir it. Put the meatballs in to the sauce. And cook for 20 minutes. With the meat sauce will be mkre flavorful and meat will be tender. And prepare the pasta for cooking.
- Boil some water in a pot. Add some salt until the water is salty as sea. When it is boiling add your pasta. And cook it.
- After 20 minutes remove the meatballs from the sauce. And toss the pasta into the sauce. Combine all the pasta with sauce. Then prepare the pasta for plating.
- Put your pasta in to a plate then add your lovely meatballs. Your foods ready.
It is also interesting because I had a piece of cheese in the center of each meatball. Never eating spaghetti and meatballs again in my life would be pretty devasted. Remove the meatballs when they're brown on the outside but not done on the inside. For a great spaghetti and meatball recipe you need a simple tomato sauce with lots of flavour.
